2026 St. Cloud 4th of July Fireworks — 4th on the Lake

St. Cloud’s 4th on the Lake at Lakefront Park on Lake Toho is one of Central Florida’s most entertaining Independence Day celebrations, with an expanded fireworks show for America’s 250th birthday in 2026. The event runs Saturday, July 4 from 4:00 PM to approximately 10:00 PM, with fireworks at 9:15 PM.

The 2026 schedule includes:

• Paul Bunyan Lumberjack performances throughout the evening
• Kids’ bike parade at 5:00 PM
• Hot dog eating contest at 6:00 PM
• Ice cream eating contest at 7:00 PM
• Live music from Modern Ties
• Car show, food court, and local vendors
• Sami’s Kids Zone, glow-in-the-dark putt-putt, volleyball, and yard games
• National Anthem at 9:10 PM, fireworks immediately after at 9:15 PM

The event takes place at the St. Cloud Lakefront Park, which has a great public beach with a splash park and playground along Lake Toho. Free admission.

St. Cloud’s Lakefront Park is itself a full-day destination, but the small historic downtown along 13th Street adds a laid-back local character worth exploring before the expanded 9:15 PM fireworks show.

• St. Cloud Lakefront Park — Arrive mid-afternoon to enjoy the public beach, splash pad, and playground before the evening crowds arrive. Rental kayaks and paddleboards are available at the lakefront, and Lake Toho is one of the best bass fishing lakes in Florida for anyone wanting a morning on the water.
• Downtown St. Cloud — 13th Street — The small historic main street has local shops, cafés, and antique stores within walking distance of each other. Lakeshore Tavern (waterfront bar and grill) and Rosario’s Ristorante (casual Italian) are two dining staples right in downtown for a pre-fireworks meal.
• Lake Lizzie Conservation Area — A quiet wilderness tract southeast of St. Cloud with hiking trails through Florida flatwoods and marsh. Best visited in the early morning before the July 4th crowds build at the lakefront — a good option if you want to start the day outdoors before the heat peaks.
• Osceola Antiques & Local Shops — The 13th Street corridor and surrounding downtown blocks have several antique and resale shops worth browsing. Lower-key than Mount Dora, but a pleasant way to spend an hour or two in the morning before the lakefront fills up.
• Fun Spot America Kissimmee — About 20 minutes west on US-192, Fun Spot is the largest go-kart complex in Central Florida and a solid afternoon option for families with kids before returning to St. Cloud for the evening fireworks.
