2026 Winter Springs 4th of July Fireworks at Central Winds Park

Winter Springs celebrates Independence Day with their Celebration of Freedom event at Central Winds Park. The event features live entertainment, food and beverages, a kids zone, and fireworks at the end of the evening. The Winter Springs fireworks show is scheduled to start at 9:10pm.
The city also has other activities throughout the day to celebrate America’s Independence.

Winter Springs has easy access to some of Seminole County’s best outdoor recreation and a handful of dining options worth exploring before the 9:10 PM fireworks at Central Winds Park.
- Central Winds Park — The event venue itself is worth arriving at early. The 260-acre park has disc golf, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, and wide open green space along the lake. Staking out your spot on the lawn well before the evening crowds arrive pays off later.
- Cross Seminole Trail — A paved multi-use trail running through Winter Springs, Casselberry, and Oviedo. A morning bike ride or walk along the wooded trail corridor is one of the best ways to start a July 4th before the heat builds. The trailhead at Red Bug Lake Road is a convenient entry point.
- Wekiwa Springs State Park — About 15 minutes west of Central Winds Park, Wekiwa Springs is one of Central Florida’s premier first-magnitude springs. Swimming in the 68-degree spring run is one of the best ways to beat the July 4th heat before heading back for the evening fireworks. Arrive early — the park fills to capacity by late morning on holiday weekends.
- Oviedo on the Park — A short drive east on SR-426, this mixed-use town green development has casual restaurants and a community plaza worth stopping at for lunch. The area is walkable and far quieter than the I-Drive corridor on a holiday weekend.
- SR-434 Dining — The SR-434 corridor near the Town Center has a range of casual options for an early dinner before heading to the park. Taquitos Mexican Restaurant and a variety of fast-casual spots make it easy to grab a meal close to Central Winds without the wait times of more popular destinations.
